The Pan - European Blood safety Alliance (PBSA) is a patient-driven, non-governmental organisation sharing a common mission, to promote the right of every European patient in need of treatment that relies on the transfusion of blood or its products to receive the safest possible treatment.
PBSA was founded by eight patient organisations from six European countries. Their initiative and commitment led to the formal establishment of PBSA on the 11th February 2005.
